In 2010, along with my mom and my sister-in-law, I opened Pear & Simple. Over all these years, I have enjoyed connecting with all of you and bringing beautiful and unique gifts into your lives. When Pear & Simple opened on North Franklin Street, I dreamed of creating a place that brought people to our beautiful downtown; a place that everyone in Port Washington would be excited to visit and share with their friends. It is such a treat to be part of this community and share life with everyone who comes into the store.  The joy that this business has brought to us and our wonderful customers feels immeasurable. Over the years the business has transformed from “just a store” to a simply delightful boutique with a community of customers that we call friends! We cherish each day that you choose us to help celebrate all of the big and little moments of your lives.

We’ve enjoyed the merriment of bustling holiday seasons, fun in the summer sun with extra visitors filling our adorable streets and the quiet days when you seek us out for times when you just need a smile (retail therapy). Owning a store has given me the opportunity to throw fun and heart-filling events that leave my cup running over. Traveling with different team members to Dallas, NYC, Atlanta and Las Vegas for markets to fill these shelves is a brand of “fun & hustling” girl time that I can’t begin to explain.

It’s been a thrilling ride. With your trust and commitment, we survived and THRIVED through a global pandemic and came out on the fun side of the new face of retail.  Though this entrepreneurial lifestyle has brought endless fulfillment the time has come to transition this vibrant business onto someone new. After 13 years of nurturing and growing this gem, I’m ready to pass the torch, full-flame, onto the next wild and spirited entrepreneur. 

I am hoping to give the keys to a new owner who will take what we’ve built, bring their own unique vision to it, and drive Pear & Simple to even greater heights. The best part? The business is ready for immediate turn-key transfer. That’s right, it’s just ready, set, go!
